Hosted alongside Music:Leeds, the first-ever Sound Development to be held in Leeds saw 50 delegates from the music and real estate industries reunited at Belgrave Music Hall & Canteen to explore the relationship between music and the built environment.
The theme of the evening was “Music as Infrastructure” and the event featured one presentation, one Q&A session and one panel discussion.
Attendees ranged from property investors to music association CEOs, from council members to architects and from recording studio managers to university professors.
All tickets were available on a ‘pay what you like’ basis and £200+ was raised for MAP Charity.

On June 13th 2019, Sound Development travelled to Leeds, UK for its first edition outside of New York and London.
Music:Leeds is a not-for-profit organisation established to act as a single, centralised point of contact that will coordinate activity to support, promote, develop and grow music-based activity within the city across any level, medium, genre or pathway.
